Missouri Electronics Recycler Partners with TERRA’s 'Done with IT' Program

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) announced that it has joined The Electronics Reuse & Recycling Alliance’s (TERRA’s) Done with IT mail-in e-waste recycling program. The company’s R2-certified electronic waste recycling facility in Park Hills, Missouri will offer electronics recycling services to regional customers, as part of the program.

Greg Cooksey, director of business development and compliance officer at MRC noted that most people are unaware of the importance and value of choosing a certified recycler when it comes to managing their end-of-life discarded electronics. The company specializes in maximizing the value of retired technology and devices while ensuring both data security and sustainability, he said.

Meantime, Steven Napoli, president and CEO of TERRA noted that the Done with IT program helps to close the digital divide with its wide range of refurbishment programs. TERRA and Done with IT actively seeks more certified recycling partners like MRC, he added.

MRC provides electronics recycling services, information technology and asset disposition, medical and lab asset disposition, and data destruction services to its clients.
