SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Vancouver, Canada-headquartered Lundin Gold Inc. announced gold production results for the third quarter of the year.
Year-on-Year comparison of output
The company’s gold production from its Fruta del Norte gold mine in Ecuador totalled 122,086 ounces. Out of this, 78,172 oz were produced as concentrate and 43,914 oz as dore. It must be noted that the quarterly production had totalled 122,154 oz of gold in the corresponding quarter a year before, more or less unchanged.

Average throughput and recoveries
In Q3 2025, the mill processed 484,296 tonnes of ore at an average throughput rate of 5,264 tonnes per day. This compares with the average throughput of 4,623 tonnes per day in Q3 last year. Also, the mill processed 425,340 tonnes of ore during the year-ago quarter. The average head grade per tonne recorded a fall from 10.3 to 8.9 year-on-year. However, recoveries were up from 86.8% to 88.2%, said a company press release.
