Turkey's stainless coil imports surged by 26% year-on-year to 32,204 tons in July this year and jumped 24% from 25,932 tons in June, as per the latest statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

ANKARA (Scrap Monster): Turkey's stainless coil imports surged by 26% year-on-year to 32,204 tons in July this year and jumped 24% from 25,932 tons in June, as per the latest statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
According to statistics, in July, Taiwan was the largest stainless coil exporter to Turkey with 10,230 tons and Germany was the second largest one with 3,612 tons.
In the first seven months of this year, Turkey's imports of stainless coils amounted to 221,397 tons, rose by 11% year-on-year.
