Sims Limited Launched New Program In Support of Female Workforce

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sims Limited announced launch of a new program, aimed at supporting and developing female leaders within the company. The new, unique leadership development program is titled ‘Women Leading @ Sims’ and will be run for a period of 10 months.

The women-led forums in various regions in which the company operates had collected feedback from women working in the company, which was later shared with executive leadership, which has finally led to the creation of the program. The virtual, monthly workshop-style course will offer internal mentorship and skills needed for the career growth of women.

Commenting on the development, Ingrid Sinclair, Global President, Sims Lifecycle Services noted that the program will recognize and support the leadership capabilities of high-performing women in the company. The company has always welcomed diversities and new perspectives, which could be clearly considered as the key drivers of its success, Sinclair added.

The program will help Sims to nurture and develop the bench strength of the emerging female leaders across the organization.
