Crews respond to fire at Providence scrap metal yard

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Crews contained a fire at a scrap metal yard on Branch Avenue near I-95 in Providence on Tuesday.

A 12 News crew at the scene could see smoke pouring out of a large pile of scrap around 2 p.m. as firefighters sprayed water from above.

A city spokesperson said no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
