SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Metal Exchange Corporation announced that it has promoted Matt Rohm to the post of President and Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of the enterprise. He will report to Rick Merluzzi, Chief Executive Officer.
In his new role, Mr. Rohm will be in charge of day-to-day operations. He will oversee all divisions and operating companies, spanning the full breadth of the Metal Exchange portfolio. Also, he will be responsible for managing all Corporate Services departments of the enterprise.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Rohm said that it is an honor to lead a world class, evergreen group of operating companies. Metal Exchange is well positioned for continued growth, he added.
Mr. Rohm has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Metal Exchange since 2016. His elevation to the new post has led to the creation of two new Divisional Chief Financial Officer positions. It has promoted Dan Jarvis as the Chief Financial Officer of the Metal Exchange Trading Division and Corporate Services. Also, Dave McCoy has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the Manufacturing Division.
Mike Lefton, Executive Chairman, Metal Exchange Corporation noted that the promotions ensure the the operational and financial leadership needed to support the growth initiatives of Metal Exchange Corporation in the coming years.
