SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): Martin Environmental Services, Inc. announced that it has acquired all Alabama assets of Liberty Disposal Inc. of Oklahoma. LDI’s Alabama market share of residential, and roll-off collection operations will drive growth and expansion for Martin Environmental in its home state of Alabama. Martin Environmental plans to continue growing the market through providing safe, and reliable service to the area while creating great jobs and benefits for the area.
Liberty Disposal was founded in 1989 by the Brigance family with one truck, originally serving the Baltimore-Washington DC area. Today the company is made up of a consolidation of Liberty Disposal, Seacoast Disposal, and Arizona Hometown. LDI specializes in Government, Municipal, and commercial solutions.
Martin Environmental President and Chief Executive Officer Brandon D. Hurst said “LDI’s Alabama operations was a natural fit for our growth strategy. The team in the area lead by District Manager Dale Purdie has several decades of experience in the region.
