MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): The weekly market price trends in North America for various scrap metal categories on the Scrap Monster Price Index for the week of October 31- November 6, 2025, are given in the report that follows:
Copper scrap prices mostly declined, with largest dips witnessed in Xmas Lights, #3 Copper-Light Copper, #2 Copper Wire and Tubing, Starters, and Sealed Units. Aluminum scrap prices, except E.C. Aluminum Wire, recorded no variation on the Index. Brass and bronze scrap recorded broad-based decline in prices week-over-week. Lead and zinc scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Steel scrap prices, inlcuding #1 HMS, Shredded Auto Scrap, HMS 80/20, and #1 Bushelin, recorded no variation across global markets. Also, stainless steel scrap prices remained steady week-over-week across North American and Chinese scrap markets.
