PCs for People currently processes nearly 2 million pounds of used electronics per year across its St. Paul and Denver facilities.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): St. Paul, Minnesota-based non-profit group, PCs for People, announced its decision to expand its processing footprints in three cities. The company unveiled major expansion plans for existing facilities located at St. Paul and Denver. In addition to launching the Cleveland facility, it also looks forward to opening a new location in Baltimore.
Commenting on the expansion plans, Casey Sorensen, CEO of PCs for People said that the recently purchased new 31,000 square foot facility in St. Paul, in replacement of the old 7,000 square-foot facility has already begun operations. In Denver, the company is in the process of leasing a new facility, which is almost three times the existing one. The new facility is expected to become operational by end if Q1 2020.
The non-profit group plans to launch its 17,000 square-foot Cleveland processing facility before the end of this year. In addition, the group intends to open a new location in Baltimore, for which it is in search of a funding partner, Sorensen noted.
