ITAD Major Announced Big Investment to Boost Capacity

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The leading Manchester, UK-based circular economy technology company, Tier-1, announced plans to double its operating capacity, by way of an eight-figure investment in EOL IT Services Ltd. This will create one of UK’s largest full circle IT hardware business. It must be noted that the business has been witnessing tremendous growth in recent years.

The acquisition of Essex-based EOL will open doors to long-standing relationships with several Government departments and blue-chip clients within the UK. The merger transaction will provide Tier-1 with an additional base in the South East via EOL’s 30,000 sq. ft. facility in Maldon, Essex, which in turn will significantly boost its shredding and logistics capacity. The facility is expected to complement its existing 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Whitefield, Manchester.

Jonathan Rose, founder and CEO of Tier 1 noted that the company is delighted to welcome Dan Smith and the entire EOL team into the Tier 1 Group. The transaction will result in a combined 70,000 square foot of operational facility and 115 employees. Furthermore, it will provide Tier-1 with operational bases in the south and the north, thus delivering strategic logistical advantages and significant reduction in carbon emissions, he added.
