ITAD Major Acquired e-End to Expand U.S. Footprints

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Aurora, Colorado-based Techno Rescue announced major expansion of its electronics recycling and data destruction services through acquisition of Maryland, Frederick-based e-End.

Further to the acquisition, e-End will continue to operate as a division of Techno Rescue. Under the new entity, it will continue to offer certified recycling and safe data destruction services to customers. Techno Rescue had considered several companies, before finally deciding upon e-End as the right fit. The combined resources of the companies will boost electronics recycling, data destruction, ITAD and ITAR services to clients across the country, the press release noted.

Commenting on the deal, Nidal Allis, President, Techno Rescue noted that e-End’s strong client base and similar business culture in delivering highest level of customer service made it an ideal candidate for acquisition. The e-End’s capability in destruction of weapons, tactical items and a wide range of ITAR-controlled devices will help in significantly expanding its market potential, Allis added.

Arleen and Steve Chafitz, owners of e-End stated that several companies have approached them in the past for acquisition. Techno Rescue possesses the same business culture as theirs, he added.
