SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): TES- the global leader in e-waste recycling and IT asset disposition (ITAD) services announced opening of its new 127,000 square feet, state-of-the-art facility in West Midlands region. It will serve as the company’s UK headquarters. The facility will employ nearly 100 staff, thus providing big boost to local economy. The opening ceremony held on July 9th was attended by several dignitaries including Amanda Milling, MP for Cannock Chase.

The modern facility will be capable in strategically managing the IT infrastructure of businesses in the most environmentally sustainable manner. The capability to provide all services under one roof will help TES to further reinforce its competitive position in the UK market. Furthermore, it will allow TES’s UK operation to invest more in refurbishment capabilities. The West Midlands facility will serve as a control tower for the company’s other facilities across the UK.
Darren Hunt, General Manager, TES UK noted that the majority of TES administrative functions will consolidate in the new facility. The move to the new facility demonstrates TES’ dedication in tackling growing e-waste and leveraging the circular economy on behalf of its customers, he added.
