SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): International Paper (IP), a company based in Memphis, Tennessee, announced plans to investigate the construction of a new, cutting-edge, environmentally friendly packaging facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. There was no disclosure of information about possible job possibilities or capital investment.

This is a component of the company's goals to increase strategic growth prospects through the expansion of U.S. manufacturing capabilities. The investigation of a possible new site will assist the business in expanding its presence in the Utah area.
