Hexpol Group has announced expansion of its two Mexican facilities with addition of new mixing lines
MEXICO CITY (Scrap Monster) : Hexpol Group has announced expansion of its two Mexican facilities with addition of new mixing lines. The rubber compounding major has announced expansion activities at at its Aguascalientes and Queretaro facilities.
According to company press release, the company has installed third mixing line at its Aguascalientes facility. The facility now has three mixers with a total capacity of 24,000 metric tons a year. It also states that the company is planning to install a second mixing line at Queretaro facility. The installation will augment the plant’s capacity by additional 12,000 tons to make it 41,000 tons. The line is expected to be installed during third and fourth quarters next year. The production from the new mixing line is expected to commence by fourth quarter next year.
Hexpol currently employs nearly 200 people between the plants in Mexico. The company currently serves customers in a wide range of industries including automobiles, aerospace, mining, industrial and appliances.
