The construction of the Innovation Center is in line with the company’s ongoing commitment to its clients, community and shareholders.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): West, Chicago, Illinois-based information technology asset disposition (ITAD) and e-waste recycling company Sims Lifecycle Services (SLS) announced opening of its new Innovation Center in Tampa, Florida. The new facility is aimed at boosting redeployment, reuse and recyclability of end-of-life IT equipment.

The Innovation Center is being established on the success of its past projects such as the HP Plastics Project. Incidentally, the collaboration had been successful in collating material from HP returns and other sources and processing them via mechanical shredding and separation techniques. The process had recovered rHIPS and ABS plastics in two HP-specific colors in just four months.
