SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Brockport, New York-headquartered Sunnking announced launch of nation’s first Live Shredder Camera, which will allow residents and businesses to have a remote view of how their discarded devices are shredded. It offers behind-the-scenes details of electronics recycling techniques employed at company’s recycling facilities. The live stream displaying shredder demolishing could be accessed any time Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

The Live Shredder Camera is powered by a high-definition Toshiba security camera, which displays the initial stage of the shredding process. The company securely erases data on electronics items. The devices that do not meet refurbished specifications are sent to shred. The state-of-the-art shredder cuts through a variety of electronics items including drives, computers, tablets and televisions.

Adam Shine, Vice President of Sunnking said that the live streaming of shredding process ensures that the electronics dropped at the recycling facility are handled in a responsible manner.
