SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): East Hartford, Connecticut-headquartered Environmental Office Solutions, Inc. (EOS) announced that it has attained prestigious R2v3 certification- the latest certification standard by the Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI). The latest certification demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement of its end-of-life electronics recycling programs aimed at preserving the environment.

Since 2012, EOS has adhered to R2 standards and principles, thus highlighting its commitment to best practices in the recycling industry. In addition to R2, the company has also been approved as a downstream vendor by the Recycler Qualification Office as part of the Canadian EPRA Recycler Qualification Program.
Commenting on the achievement, Chris Stoddard, Founder, EOS said that it is pleased to have received certification to the new R2v3 standard. He thanked the entire EOS team for their dedicated efforts in making this happen. The certification testifies that the company is still committed to reuse and reducing waste, the principles on which the company was started almost 25 years back, Stoddard added.
EOS is headquartered in a 40,000+ square-foot recycling facility in East Hartford and operates a 40,000-plus-square-foot recycling, warehouse and distribution facility in Colorado.
