Electronics Recycler To Open New Facility in Charleston

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Wintersville, Ohio-based electronic scrap recycler and IT asset disposition (ITAD) service provider Infinite Electronics Recycling (IER) has decided to expand its operations into West Virginia. The company plans to open a new facility in Charleston area at an investment of $200,000 and is expected to become operational by June this year.

Dan Nunkovich, vice president of operations, IER noted that the company has large number of existing customers in Charleston and that its workload for pickups have increased significantly. This justifies the need to expand its operations. The new facility will initially act as transfer station, which will transload the collected devices to its Wintersville facility, where they will be refurbished or demanufactured. The facility will employ 20 full-time workers, Nunkovich said.
