SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): A new program will help North Country residents safely recycle their electronics without letting them enter the waste stream.
The town of Plattsburgh is launching a partnership with E-Waste Plus to provide residents with a convenient way to recycle electronics responsibly.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 1, eligible products can be dropped off at Plattsburgh Town Hall.
For residents across the lake, Vermont's E-Cycle program is also accepting unwanted electronics. It offers free recycling for some charities, schools and small businesses.
The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation has a list of drop-off locations across the state on its website.
