Godrej Appliances Launches Campaign to Fight E-Waste

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Godrej Appliances- India’s leading home appliance manufacturer announced launch of a series of programs to fight e-waste, in the light of second International E-Waste Day. The initiative named ‘India Vs E-Waste’ introduces a series of series of e-waste awareness campaigns and collection programs.

The company has launched a video-based awareness campaign on social media platform, aimed at educating students on the importance of proper disposal of electronic waste. In addition, it has provided an option for consumers to request for collection of e-waste from homes through its toll-free number, which will be open round-the-clock.

The company noted that the new campaign targets the end users. The company has already put great efforts to fulfil its extended producer responsibility obligations, in partnership with certified recyclers.
