DS Smith Boosts Transition to a Lower Carbon Economy

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): DS Smith announced a series of ambitious climate targets. The company aims to achieve 40% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions per tonne of product by 2030, upon comparison with 2019 levels. Furthermore, it targets to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

As part of its efforts to achieve the above milestones, DS Smith has joined the UN’s Race to Zero campaign- a global campaign backed by the UN to undertake rigorous and immediate actions to halve global emissions by 2030 and deliver a healthier and zero carbon world in time.
