BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices were mostly flat on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Only stainless steel prices recorded variation, with the prices of the commodity falling from the previous day’s prices.

• Copper: Held steady
• Aluminum: No variation
• Brass/Bronze: Flat trend
• Stainless Steel: Reported decline
• Steel: Remained stable

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also were flat on the Index.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery recorded no variation over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices held steady on the Index.

Cu/Al Radiator prices witnessed no fluctuation upon comparison with the prior day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were stable as of Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Heater Cores prices were unchanged on the Index.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices recorded no change on the Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed no change over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices also were flat on the Index.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers were unchanged on the Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices registered no change on the Index.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices held steady as of February 3, 2026.

UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices recorded no change from the previous day’s price.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady as of February 3, 2026.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

• 201 SS: Held steady
• 304 SS Solid: Witnessed a decline of CNY 50 per MT
• 304 SS Turning: Dropped by CNY 50 per MT
• 309 SS: Recorded a fall of CNY 100 per MT

310 SS prices were down by CNY 150 per MT as of Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

316 SS Solid prices dipped by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day’s prices.

Shred SS prices reported a price dip of CNY 50 per MT on the Index.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
