The purchase price is estimated at around $1.63 million.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Imperial Group- based in W. Fulton St., Chicago, announced purchase of a property in Franksville, Wisconsin. The company plans to open a new scrap recycling facility in the acquired property. The above transaction will help the company to expand its footprints to Wisconsin.

The purchased facility at 2713 Nicholas Road in Franksville was previously home to Norco manufacturing facility, which moved to a new location in the new DeBack farms Industrial Park in Caledonia, as part of its expansion drive, thus leaving the site vacant. The 38,000 square foot building facility will be used by Imperial Group to augment its scrap metal processing and recycling and metal fabrication portfolio. It consists of multiple cranes and reinforced concrete floors.

The purchase price is estimated at around $1.63 million. The company has not yet revealed development plans for the purchased site next to the Foxconn development area. With the opening of the new facility, the company will have its presence in eight U.S. states, with Wisconsin becoming the eighth state from where it operates. It must be noted that Imperial Group already has locations in seven U.S. states- Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, North Carolina and Alabama.

Imperial Group consists of 17 industrial companies- including startups, joint ventures, and acquisitions. Started as a local metal recycling company, it has now grown into a diversified group with combined revenue of nearly one billion dollars. The separate entities, while working independently, also offer products and services at Group level. The various group entities handle metal at all stages of its lifecycle.
