Strauss’s existing businesses will complement AMG Resources, which already has strong presence in the Ohio Valley region, through its nine ferrous and nonferrous scrap-processing operations in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia. In addition, Strauss’s barge-loading capabilities will provide greater opportunities for AMG Resources to supply customers via the river, supplementing its private railcar fleet, said Eric Goldstein, President, AMG Resources.

AMG Resources operates 20 scrap processing facilities and 17 commercial offices in the U.S., in addition to its European operations.
