Rusal reported a loss of USD 87 million in H1 2025, compared to a profit of USD 565 million in the corresponding six-month period in 2024.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster):  Russia-headquartered aluminum producer Rusal announced its interim 2025 results.

The company's financial and operational performance during the first half of this year, primarily due to the notable strengthening of the Russian local currency and tighter lending conditions in the home market. Positive price dynamics and a minor increase in aluminum demand, however, somewhat offset the effects.
