Novelis Elevates Emilio Braghi to COO Role

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Novelis Inc., the global leader in aluminum rolling and recycling, has announced the appointment of Emilio Braghi as Chief Operating Officer, strengthening its focus on operational excellence and sustainable growth. Braghi assumes the role with immediate effect and will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Fisher.
As COO, Braghi will oversee manufacturing and supply chain operations worldwide, with priorities centered on safety performance, product quality, asset reliability, and continuous improvement across facilities.
Key highlights of the appointment include:
• Driving world class operating standards across Novelis’ global footprint
• Enhancing efficiency, reliability, and customer service delivery
• Supporting long term value creation for customers and stakeholders
Fisher said Braghi’s extensive operational background and international leadership experience position him well to advance performance across the organization and reinforce Novelis’ standing as a preferred aluminum supplier.
In addition to his COO duties, Braghi will continue to serve as President of Novelis Europe and will remain based in Kusnacht, Switzerland.
Braghi brings more than twenty five years of experience at Novelis, having held senior leadership roles across Europe, North America, and Asia, spanning sales and operations.
