Alter Trading Corp. Declared Key Changes to Executive Team

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Alter Trading Corporation- one of the nation’s leading scrap metal recyclers and brokers announced key changes to its leadership team. The changes are aimed at supporting the company’s growth strategy and long-term succession plans.

According to company press release, Jack Grundfest has been promoted to president of Alter Trading. He has been serving as the company’s senior vice president and chief administrative officer. The promotion is in recognition of the significant contribution made by him to the organization in the short tenure, since his joining the company in 2018. He will now be in charge of Alter’s corporate functions, administrative departments and the ferrous and nonferrous marketing groups.

Michael Goldstein has now been promoted to executive vice president of operations. He will continue to oversee the daily operations of all of the company locations. Also Robert Cai has been promoted to managing director of Asia. Michelle Roosa will now serve as the company’s vice president of human resources.

Sarah Schlichtholz has been promoted to Alter’s vice president of environmental and community. Bart Childers has been promoted to serve as the vice president of information technology. Finally, Jeff Wilke has been promoted to vice president of safety.
