25th April, 2024: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Surged on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on April 25^th, Thursday. Brass, Bronze and Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Meantime, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices held steady.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 850 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 850 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 850 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 400 per MT over the previous day.

The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 100 per MT when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Cu/Al Radiators and Heater Cores prices inched higher by CNY 100 per MT and CNY 200 per MT respectively over the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were up by CNY 50 per MT on Thursday, April 25th, 2024.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices increased by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 250 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 250 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers increased by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched higher by CNY 250 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 250 per MT each on April 25^th, 2024.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90%NF prices were up by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 25^th April, 2024.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too witnessed no change over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning were flat on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices recorded no change when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were unchanged on April 25^th, 2024.

Shred SS prices too were flat over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded modest rise from the previous day.

Brass Radiator prices increased by CNY 50 per MT on April 25^th, 2024.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices were up by CNY 100 per MT each.
