21st November, 2022: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Dipped Substantially on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 21^st, Monday. Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Brass/Bronze scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 1,500 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 1,500 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 750 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of CNY 400 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices witnessed a dip by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT each.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices inched lower by CNY 400 per MT.

Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 600 per MT on Monday, November 21^st.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices dipped by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions declined by CNY 50 per MT in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 50 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched lower by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices too dropped by CNY 50 per MT each on 21^st November, 2022.

The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF saw no change from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 21^st November, 2022.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were down by CNY 150 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too declined by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning recorded decline by CNY 200 per Mt on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices dropped by CNY 300 per MT each when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were down by CNY 40 per MT on November 21^st, 2022.

Shred SS prices too dipped by CNY 200 per MT over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on November 21^st, 2022.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too dropped by CNY 150 per MT each on Index.
