13th June, 2023: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Dipped, Silver Soared on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Tuesday, 13^th June, 2023 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Silver scrap prices increased marginally over the previous day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 7.66 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 9.82 and $ 11.99 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 4.91 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 19.68 per Oz to reach $ 724.02 per Oz. Silver scrap prices increased by $0.45 per Oz when compared with the previous day.   

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 7.25 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 9.29 and $ 11.35 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 4.64 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $19.68 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices recorded modest jump by $0.40 per Lb.
