13th February, 2023: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Dropped on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on February 13^th, Monday. Aluminum and Stainless Steel scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel and Brass/Bronze scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 200 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 100 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices held steady on Index.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery scrap prices were unchanged over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices did not see any change on Index.

Heater Cores prices declined by CNY 50 per MT on Monday, February 13^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices were flat over the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions declined by CNY 100 per MT in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers dipped by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched lower by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices too dropped by CNY 100 per MT each on 13^th February, 2023.

The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF were down by CNY 50 per MT each from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 13^th February, 2023.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were down by CNY 200 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too declined by CNY 300 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning recorded decline by CNY 300 per Mt on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices dropped by CNY 450 per MT each when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were down by CNY 600 per MT on February 13^th, 2023.

Shred SS prices too dipped by CNY 300 per MT over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China held steady on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were unchanged on February 13^th, 2023.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too witnessed no change on Index.
