11th July, 2022-North American Scrap Metal Prices Slumped on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices remained mostly unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 11^th, 2022. Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Brass/Bronze and Copper scrap prices registered marginal decline. Also, Aluminum scrap prices dropped on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap edged down by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.10 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.10 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged lower by $ 0.10 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices inched lower by $0.02 per Lb on Index over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by $0.02 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched lower by $0.10 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap were down by $0.03 per Lb on Index.

Copper Transformer Scrap prices dipped by $0.01 per Lb.

Cu Yokes prices too recorded decline by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends were down by $0.01 per Lb.

Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe priced slipped by $0.03 per Lb on July 11^th, 2022.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb each over the day.

Romex Wire prices were down by $0.02 per Lb on Index.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights reported decline by $0.01 per Lb each from previous day price levels.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap, 3003 Scrap, 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe prices dipped by $0.02 per Lb each on Index.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions, 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions too were down by $0.02 per Lb when compared with the prior day.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe were down by $0.03 per Lb each over the day. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices inched lower by $0.01 per Lb. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices edged lower by $0.01 per Lb each on July 11^th, 2022.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by $0.03 per Lb on Index.

Chrome Wheels, Litho Sheets and MLC Clips were down by $0.02 per Lb each from previous day price levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too dipped by $0.02 per Lb.

The prices of Old Cast and UBC witnessed decline by $0.02 per Lb each over the previous day.

Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too dipped by $0.02 per Lb on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat.

The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on July 11^th, 2022.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no change in prices on July 11^th, 2022.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat from the prior day.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region witnessed marginal dip on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by $0.03 per Lb each on Monday, July 11^th, 2022.

Brass Radiator /Fe prices dipped by $0.01 per Lb on Index.

Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices too recorded decline by $0.03 per Lb each on Index.
