US East Coast Copper and Stainless Steel Scrap prices see marginal rise on Index

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The USA East Coast Copper Scrap and Stainless Steel prices  saw marginal up move October 18^th Friday as on the Scrap Monster Price Index.

Copper price

The prices of Alternator Scrap, #1 Copper Wire and Tubing, #2 Copper Wire and Tubing and Copper Bare Bright remained unchanged from the previous day. A slight rise of $ 0.02 per Lb was seen in the price of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85 % Recovery. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50 % Recovery prices rose by $0.02 per Lb. No price-variation was seen over the day on #3 Copper – Light Copper, Copper Radiators, Copper Transformer Scrap, Cu Yokes, Cu/Al Radiator Ends, Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators /Fe. Other copper scrap materials including Harness Wire 35% Recovery, Heater cores, Romex Wire, Scap Electric Motors, Sealed Units, Starters and Xmas lights too remained unchanged over the previous day.

Stainless Steel

The prices of 201 SS and 301 SS remained flat. The prices of 304 SS Solid, 304 SS Turning and 309 SS were up marginally by $ 0.01 per Lb each. A rise of $ 0.02 per Lb was seen in 310 SS and 330 SS prices.316 SS Solid prices also increased by $0.01 per Lb on October 18^th Friday.
