North American copper scrap prices slump on Index

The North American copper scrap prices were on the skids September 24th Tuesday

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North American copper scrap prices were on the skids September 24th Tuesday on ScrapMonster Price Index.
Alternator prices remained unchanged. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.03 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.03 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went lower by $ 0.03 per Lb to reach $3.22 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery saw a down move of $0.01 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged from the previous day. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went lower by $0.02 per Lb. Meantime, Copper Radiator prices also declined by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Radiators, Copper Transformer Scrap, Cu/Al Radiator Ends, Cu/Al Radiators, Cu/Al Radiators/Fe, Harness Wire 35% Recovery, Heater Cores and Cu Yokes remained unchanged.
The prices of Romex Wire were down $0.01 per Lb to $2.41 per Lb.
Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas lights saw no daily variation in prices on September 24th.
