BEIJING (Scrap Monster) : The Chinese copper scrap prices declined on Index. Brass scrap prices were also down on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Friday, October 18th.
Copper Scrap
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery was down CNY 100 per MT to CNY 39,200 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery also decreased by CNY 50 per MT.
Copper Transformer scrap prices remained flat at CNY 12,300 per MT. Cu Yokes declined by CNY 50 per MT from the previous day.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery declined by CNY 50 per MT. Heater Cores were down CNY 100. Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices did not see any change from the previous day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap
Brass Radiator prices were down by CNY 50 per Lb. The price of Red Brass remained unchanged over the day. Yellow brass prices too declined by CNY 50 per Lb
