Western Forest Products Announces Key Changes to Executive Leadership

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Western Forest Products Inc. announced major changes to its Board of Directors. These include changes to the Chair roles of the Board and various Committees.

According to the company press release, Michael Waites has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board. Also, Waites has stepped down as Vice-Chair of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Environmental, Health and Safety Committee. Meanwhile, he will continue to serve as an independent member of both of the above committees.

Lee Doney will be the new Chair of the e Environmental, Health and Safety Committee. Concurrently, he has stepped down from the Chair of the Board position. Jim Arthurs has stepped down as Chair of the Audit Committee. He will continue to serve as independent member of the Audit Committee, Environmental, Health and Safety Committee, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

The press release also announced the appointment of Daniel Nocente as Chair of the Audit Committee. Further, he will continue to serve as the Chair of the Management Resources and Compensation Committee and as an independent member of Western’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
