SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. announced key senior leadership changes, aimed at propelling the company’s growth in the upcoming future.
According to company press release, Sean McLaren, who now serves as the President, Solid Wood, will become the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. Kevin Burke will become West Fraser’s Senior Vice-President, Wood Products. It must be noted that Burke currently serves as the Vice-President, North American Engineered Wood Products and Renewable Energy.
West Fraser announced that Keith Carter, currently the Company’s Vice-President, Western Canada Operations, will become the Company’s Senior Vice-President, Western Canada. Also, Alan McMeekin, currently the Company’s Vice-President, European Engineered Wood Products, will become the Company’s Senior Vice-President, Europe.
Commenting on the management changes, Ray Ferris, President and Chief Executive Officer, West Fraser said that the changes are intended to further strengthen its management capacity and prepare the company for continued success in future. He congratulated all the senior leaders who willingly agreed to take additional responsibilities within the company.
Also, West Fraser declared quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share payable on January 11, 2022 to shareholders of record on December 28, 2021.
