Over the previous week, there was a substantial decline of 20.26% in copper scrap prices.
North America
Over the past week, #1 Copper Bare Bright's price has slumped by 19.89%. #1 Copper Wire & Tubing closed at $4.41 per pound, down significantly by 20.25% from the beginning of the week. Additionally, the price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing tumbled from $5.33 to $4.21 per pound, recording a weekly fall of 21.01%.

The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright on the ScrapMonster Index recorded notable decline from $5.63 to $4.51 per pound as of Thursday, July 31, 2025, witnessing a weekly drop of 19.89%. #1 Copper Wire & Tubing went lower from $5.53 to $4.41 per pound, registering a sharp decline of 20.25% from the prior week. The Index's aluminum scrap prices recorded marginal decline of 1.53% over the previous week.

The price of E.C. Aluminum Wire inched lower by 2.52% on the Index in comparison to the previous week. The price of 6063 Extrusions at the conclusion of the week ending July 31, 2025, was down by 1.08% at $0.92 per pound. The index showed a fall of 1.27% in Old Cast prices. In addition, UBC's prices were down by 1.25% over the week prior.

E.C. Aluminum Wire prices dropped marginally by 1.02% to end the week at CNY 19,450 per MT, when compared with the previous week. Also, upon comparison with the prior week, the price of 6063 Extrusions fell by 1.08%. As of July 31, 2025, Old Cast's price on the Index were down by 1.09%. Over the course of the week, UBC prices dipped from CNY 12,700 per MT to CNY 12,650 per MT on the Index.
Europe
The price of Old Cast was flat at $1,050 per tonne for the entire week. The ScrapMonster Index also shows that UBC prices remained same from the previous week at $1,250 per tonne.
The prices of Stainless Steel scrap recorded 3.23% decline over the previous week’s prices.
North America
An examination of 304 SS Solid pricing trend indicates that the commodity's price recorded decline over the prior week. The product's pricing dropped from $0.62 per Lb to $0.60 per Lb.
