SDI Declared Key Senior Leadership Transitions

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Steel Dynamics, Inc. (SDI) announced senior leadership transitions.

The release states that Glenn Pushis would leave the company on October 1, 2025, in order to take a job as CEO of McBride Capital Partners' "Project Aero," a U.S.-based business that intends to build a titanium production plant in North Carolina. He will commission SDI's new aluminum flat rolled plants throughout the year in order to continue consulting for the company after he retires.

Additionally, starting on October 1, 2025, Miguel Alvarez will take charge of and supervise the business's aluminum activities. In addition to an auxiliary recycled aluminum deox-rod facility, he will be in charge of leading the company's future strategic aluminum investments.

In the upcoming weeks, SDI intends to reveal the new senior leader for its metals recycling platform.

Since joining the company, Glenn's passion and drive for excellence have been tremendous advantages, according to Mark D. Millett, founder, chairman, and chief executive officer. He also mentioned how happy he was to see Miguel take charge of its expanding metal platform.
