TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The prices of a few scrap categories in North American region recorded increase on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on the Index. Copper and Aluminum scrap prices registered a marginal increase, whereas Brass/Bronze scrap prices remained stable on the Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

Alternator prices showed no movement on the Index.

Meanwhile, #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw a modest uptick of $0.01 per lb, with #2 Copper Wire and Tubing mirroring the same increase. #1 Copper Bare Bright also posted a slight gain of $0.01 per lb.

Prices for #1 Insulated Copper Wire (85% Recovery) were unchanged from the previous session. #2 Insulated Copper Wire (50% Recovery) also held firm. #3 Copper/Light Copper registered a marginal rise of $0.01 per lb.

Copper Radiator scrap values stayed stable on the Index.

Copper Transformer Scrap prices likewise showed no adjustment.

Cu Yokes held their previous pricing without fluctuation.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends, Cu/Al Radiators, and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe all remained steady as of December 2, 2025.

Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe showed no movement, holding steady throughout the session. Prices for Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe likewise remained flat. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage (50% Recovery) were stable as of Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

E.C. Aluminum Wire registered a $0.01-per-lb rise on the Index.

Chrome Wheels, Litho Sheets, and MLC Clips each climbed by $0.01 per lb compared to the previous day’s pricing.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings also strengthened by $0.01 per lb.

Old Cast and UBC both gained $0.01 per lb on the day.
