BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices remained mostly unchanged on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Copper and Aluminum scrap prices also remained unchanged over the previous day. Meanwhile, Stainless Steel scrap prices edged higher on the Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no price change over the previous day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also remained flat.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery recorded no change over the previous day.
Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.
Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady as of Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots also remained unchanged.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved on the Index.
Old Cast prices too were flat as of November 26, 2025.
The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on the Index.
Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day’s price.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady as of November 26, 2025.
Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices went higher by CNY 50 per MT on the Index.
304 SS Solid prices also were up by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
The price of 304 SS Turning increased by CNY 50 per MT.
309 SS and 316 SS prices jumped by CNY 150 per MT each when compared with the prior day’s price.
310 SS Solid scrap prices were up by CNY 200 per MT as of Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Shred SS scrap prices inched up by CNY 50 per MT over the day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged.
Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on November 26, 2025.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices also were flat on the Index.
