The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery declined by $0.03 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by $0.02 per Lb from the previous day prices.
By TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices tumbled on ScrapMonster Price Index as on November 28th, Tuesday. Aluminum and Copper scrap prices declined on Index. Brass and Bronze scrap prices dropped over the previous day. Meantime, Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices remained unchanged.
Copper Scrap Prices
Alternator prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb when compared with the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.06 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.06 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went lower by $ 0.06 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery declined by $0.03 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by $0.02 per Lb from the previous day prices. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped sharply by $0.06 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Radiator registered decline of $0.02 per Lb over the previous day.
Cu Yokes and Copper Transformer scrap prices dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb.
Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb each over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator Ends too were down by $0.01 per Lb.
Meanwhile, Romex Wire prices saw decline of $0.02 per Lb on November 28th.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices decreased by $0.02 per Lb. The prices of Heater Cores too witnessed marginal decline of $0.02 per Lb.
Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights declined slightly by $0.01 per Lb each over the previous day.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
1100 Scrap prices declined by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 3003 Scrap too fell $0.01 per Lb. A down move of $0.01 per Lb was witnessed in 356 Aluminum Wheels. Meantime, 6063 Extrusions and 6063 Extrusions/Fe, 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions prices fell by $0.01 per Lb each.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators dropped by $0.02 per Lb from the previous day. Al/Cu Radiators/Fe prices declined by $0.02 per Lb. The prices of Aluminum Radiators, Aluminum Transformer, Aluminum Radiators/Fe and Breakage 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day on November 28th.
Chrome Wheels and Litho Sheets too witnessed decline of $0.01 each.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices slipped by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of Mixed Aluminum Turnings saw no change.
MLC Clips declined marginally by $0.01 per Lb.
Old Sheet, Old Cast, Painted Siding, UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices were down marginally by $0.01 per Lb.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 Bundle prices remained flat at $325 per MT.
The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on 28th November, 2017.
HMS 80/20 prices held steady at $240 per MT.
Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS and 301 SS prices held steady.
304 SS Solid prices remained unchanged at $0.46 per Lb over the previous day. 309 SS prices too reported no change in prices.
304 SS Turning witnessed no variation in prices on 28th November, 2017.
310 SS and 330 SS prices remained unchanged on Index.
Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices were flat at $0.66 per Lb.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The prices of 70/30 Brass Scrap inched lower by $ 0.02 per Lb.
80/20 Brass Scrap also declined by $ 0.02 per Lb to $1.62 per Lb.
The price of 85/15 Brass was down by $ 0.02 per Lb to reach $ 1.78 per Lb.
Brass Radiator prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb.
Brass Radiator/Fe Scrap and Brass Radiator Ends prices declined marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.
The prices of Red Brass declined by $0.02 per Lb.
Rod borings too saw down move of $ 0.02 per Lb.
The prices of Yellow Brass dropped by $0.02 per Lb to touch $1.41 on November 28th.
