27th February, 2019: Chinese Copper Scrap Prices Declined Marginally on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on February 27^th, Wednesday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Aluminum scrap prices too remained unchanged over the previous day. Copper scrap prices recorded marginal decline. Also, Stainless Steel scrap prices reported no change on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price decline of CNY 100 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 100 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery remained unchanged when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator and Heater Cores prices reported no change over the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices saw no change on Wednesday, February 27^th.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved.

Old Cast prices too were flat on 27^th February, 2019.

The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.

Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 27^th February, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS prices were up marginally by CNY 50 per MT.

316 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on February 27^th, 2019.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on February 27^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
