20th July, 2020: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Recorded Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices witnessed mixed trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 20^th, Monday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Copper scrap prices declined, whereas Aluminum scrap prices surged over the previous day.  Stainless Steel scrap prices declined on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing prices dipped by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices witnessed no change on Index. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too were unchanged over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices saw no change on Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Monday, July 20^th.

Heater Cores prices recorded no variation in prices.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots and Radiators prices were up by CNY 100 per MT  and CNY 50 per MT respectively on Index.

Aluminum Transformers too were up by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

E.C Aluminum Wire, Old Cast and Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 100 per MT each on July 20^th, 2020.

Meantime, UBC prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Zorba 90% NF prices remained unchanged on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 20^th July, 2020.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices declined by CNY 150 per MT each over the previous day.

309SS scrap prices dipped by CNY 250 per MT.

316 SS Solid prices inched lower by CNY 250 per MT when compared with the prior day.

310 SS prices dipped by CNY 350 per MT on July 20^th, 2020.

Shred SS prices witnessed decline by CNY 150 per MT over the day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on July 20^th, 2020.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
