In the week ending June 12, 2026, the price of benchmark softwood lumber item Western Spruce-Pine-Fir 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$490 mfbm.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Northwestern and Southern lumber item prices showed positive trends, while Coastal species (Hemlock and Douglas Fir KD) prices were flat by comparison.
In the week ending June 12, 2026, the price of benchmark softwood lumber item Western Spruce-Pine-Fir 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$490 mfbm. This was flat from the previous week, said weekly forest products industry price guide newsletter Madison’s Lumber Reporter.
That week’s price was flat from one month ago when it was $490.
Compared to the same week last year, when it was US$462 mfbm, that week’s price was up +$28, or +6%. Compared to two years ago when it was $384, that week’s price was up +$107, or +28%.
In the week ending June 12, 2026, the price of Southern Yellow Pine East Side 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$505 mfbm. This was up +$15, or +3%, from the previous week when it was $490.
That week’s price was up +$28, or +6%, from one month ago when it was $478.
Compared to the same week last year, when it was $425, that week’s price was up +$80, or +19%. Compared to two years ago when it was $370, that week’s price was up +$135, or +36%.
