SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): A lumber company is set to make a multi-million dollar investment into its Port City location.

According to a news release, a subsidiary of Canfor Southern Pine Inc., New South Lumber Company Inc., is investing $10.5 million in the Mobile County location.

The company will be adding “a new dual-path continuous dry kiln.” This move aims to increase efficiency and drying capacity, as well as provide room for growth in the future.
