Kevin Edgson Appointed President and CEO of Canfor Pulp

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Vancouver, B.C.-based Canfor Pulp Products Inc. announced appointment of Kevin Edgson as President and CEO of the company with effect from April 11, 2022.

According to company press release, Kevin will focus on optimizing the value of Canfor Pulp’s business. He will start by leading the company through a comprehensive business review, in which he will be assisted by Kevin Anderson, Vice President, Operations, and Brian Yuen, Vice President, Pulp and Paper Sales and Marketing.

John Baird, Chair, Canfor Pulp Board of Directors noted that Kevin’s proven ability to build and lead highly effective teams, along with his extensive experience in the forest sector, make him the ideal choice to lead Canfor Pulp. Meantime, Don Kayne, President and CEO, Canfor welcomed Kevin to lead the Canfor Pulp team. Being a highly successful leader with strong knowledge of the forestry and pulp industries, Kevin will lead the company into a profitable and sustainable future, he hoped.

Kevin has most recently served as President and CEO of EACOM Timber Corporation (‘EACOM’) for nearly a decade. Prior to that, he has worked in a series of increasingly senior roles in Millar Western Products Ltd.
