Canada's Lumber Output Jumps 16.4% in January

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Canada's lumber production surged 16.4% in January to 3,996.3 thousand m3, indicating a robust beginning to 2024, reports Statistics Canada.

This rise follows a 4.9% year-on-year increase from January 2023.

The shipments rising 11.2% from December to 3,893.4 thousand m3, and marking a 5.7% increase from the previous year.
