Sanner reports record sales for 2013

Germany-based plastic packaging company Sanner has released its 2013 annual financial results, revealing an increase in sales of 10% on 2012.

Sanner reports its 2013 sales reached €55m setting a new company record and building on its 2012 results of €50.6m.

"The year 2013 was full of positive changes for our company," said Sanner CEO Holger Frank.

The company states it invested in extensive reconstruction at its headquarters in Bensheim, took steps toward doubling production capacity at its plant in Kunshan, China and expanded its market presence in India.

The company also increased its workforce adding 60 new employees in 2013. "We are planning for further growth this year," Frank explained. "We are counting on the sales of new products in different segments as well as on specific customer projects for which we are developing tailor-made packaging solutions."

Sanner says it produces two billion plastic parts each year for standard and customised packaging solutions.
