Egg-xciting reusable plastic cartons Dutch packaging company TwinPack has joined forces with Danish

Dutch packaging company TwinPack has joined forces with Danish food manufacturer Hedegaard Foods to create packaging company Eggs-Posure.

The companies say that Eggs-Posure has been created to generate added value for the global egg industry by making innovative packaging concepts.

One of Eggs-Posure’s products is already complete. Eggplay is a plastic egg box design that can be re-used as a toy.

Once empty of eggs the colourful egg cartons, which are dishwasher proof, fit together to create fun toy building blocks for kids. The product is to be showcased at VIV Europe 2014 in the Netherlands.

Ivan Noes Jørgensen, CEO at Hedegaard Foods said of the partnership: “We can contribute in-depth knowledge of eggs, egg packaging, and sales, whereas TwinPack possesses specialist know-how within the manufacture and sale of packaging concepts worldwide. As such, we believe that TwinPack is a perfect match for us.”
